Berenika Anna Mikeschová

Actress

Biography

In 2023, she graduated in drama acting from DAMU. She made guest appearances at the Komorní scéna Aréna theatre in the production U snědeného krámku and at the Dlouhá Theatre in the productions Zítřek se nekoná and Sodoma komora. With the Ductus Deferens ensemble, directed by Herman Čolka, she took part in the pandemic project Praha balkonová (Prague Balcony) as Shakespeare's Juliet. She starred in the student film Medmed and several others. She finds a special charm in understudying, even though she says it is extremely stressful. Her favorite stand-in role was in the production of There's No Need to Do Anything Anymore, directed by Jan Frič for the Dlouhá Theatre. She likes to write her own texts and has even "cobbled together" a book, which she says she probably won't publish. She likes many things, and her favorite question is: Why?

"I am a power plant, a discharge, the wind. I am proud to be a hybrid. For I have within me the purest light and, likewise, hellish darkness."
