Biography

Beatrice Bee is an Italian dancer whose training and career span some of the most prestigious ballet institutions in Europe. She began her formal ballet education at the La Scala Academy (Accademia Teatro alla Scala) in Milan, Italy, from 2019 to 2021, studying under Fréderic Olivieri, Tatiana Nikonova, Paola Vismara, Walter Madau, Leonid Nikonov, and Emanuela Tagliavia, while also graduating from the Liceo Coreutico Locatelli in Bergamo. She then continued her studies at the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in St. Petersburg, Russia, from 2021 to 2022 with Svetlana Ivanova and Irina Badaeva. From 2022 to 2024, she trained at the State Academy of the John Cranko Schule in Stuttgart, Germany, under Tadeusz Matacz, Galina Solovieva, Pilar Murube, and Caterina Mora. Since 2024, Beatrice has been a member of the corps de ballet at the Sofia National Opera and Ballet.

Throughout her career, Beatrice has performed in a wide range of classical and contemporary works. At the Sofia National Opera and Ballet, she has danced in Romeo and Juliet by Kaloyan Boyadjev, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Sleeping Beauty by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Giselle by Adolphe Adam, La Bayadère and Paquita by Ludwig Minkus, Anna Karenina and The Great Gatsby by Leo Mujic, and Carmina Burana by Fredy Franzutti. During her time at the John Cranko Schule, she performed in The Nutcracker with the Stuttgart Ballet and in numerous school productions. At the Vaganova Academy, she appeared as a snowflake in The Nutcracker at the Mariinsky Theatre, and while at La Scala Academy, she performed in The Nutcracker at Piccolo Teatro Strehler and in Le Nozze di Figaro at Teatro alla Scala.

Beatrice has been recognized for her talent and dedication with several awards, including reaching the Junior Top 12 Classical at the Youth America Grand Prix Semifinals in Cattolica, Italy, in 2019, earning a full-year scholarship to Balletschule Theater Basel, and receiving short-term scholarships at La Scala Academy. She was also invited to the YAGP Finals in New York. In 2018, through the “Formazione Tersicore Program” with Simona Ferrara, Heike Keller, Jason Thomas Beechey, and Amanda Bennet, she was awarded short-term scholarships to Balletschule Theater Basel and the Dutch National Ballet Academy.

She is fluent in Italian and English, with working proficiency in Spanish, and basic knowledge of German and Russian.
