Ava Borowski

Biography

Ava Borowski, soprano, earned her M.M. in Performance and Pedagogy from the Peabody Conservatory (2021) and is a current student of Mr. Randall Scarlata. Ms. Borowski sang the role of the “Second Lady” in Mozart’s Die Zauberflote with Prague Summer Nights in Alexandria, VA (Summer 2021). She sang “Fiordiligi” in Mozart’s, Cosi fan tutte, with Peabody Opera (Fall 2020) and also covered the role of “Magda” in Puccini’s, La Rondine, with Peabody Opera in the Spring of 2020. Ms. Borowski is a recipient of the Artistic Excellence award, the Claire & Allan Jensen Endowed Scholarship, and the Anger Hamerick and Sidney Lanier General Scholarship from the Peabody Conservatory. A native of Wilmington, DE, Ms. Borowski started her career singing as a cantor and choir member in her home church. She also earned her B.M. in Performance at Ithaca College.
