Anna Princeva

Biography

Soprano Anna Princeva made her debut at the National Theatre Opera on 9 October 2013 as Donna Anna (Don Giovanni, Estates Theatre). She studied at conservatories in her native St. Petersburg and in Italy, where she moved in 2002. Since then, she has appeared at opera houses in Bonn, Basel, Freiburg and Graz as well as at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, in roles including Contessa (Le nozze di Figaro), Elsa (Lohengrin), Violetta Valéry (La traviata), Mathilde (Guillaume Tell), Donna Anna and others. Recent highlights include Nedda (Pagliacci) and Musetta (La bohème) at the Opera Australia in Sydney, Hélène (Les vêpres siciliennes) at Rome Opera, Alice Ford (Falstaff), Nedda a Mimi (La bohème) at the Hamburg State Opera, Cio-Cio-San (Madama Butterfly) at Bregenz Festival and at the State Opera Berlin, Mimi and Nedda at the Royal Opera Convet Garden in London, and many others.
