Anna Dal CastelloCorps de ballet member of The Czech National Ballet
Member of the Czech National Ballet since 2018. A native of Bolzano, she started dancing at the Evento Danza school under the direction of Barbara Ante. At the age of nine, she won first place at the International Dance Competition in her hometown. She then joined the Dance Academy in Zurich under Steffy Scherzer and Oliver Matz, which she graduated in 2017.
During her last school years, she participated in a number of ballet galas, such as the Ballet Gala Ludwigsburg and Die Welt zu Gast in Munich. In 2016, she participated in a cultural competition for young talents in Switzerland called Migros Kulturprozent Wettbewerb, where she received a scholarship. In 2017, she participated in the Trainee program at the European School of Ballet in Amsterdam.
Czech National Ballet is her first engagement. Viewers could see her in the ballets Swan Lake, The Nutcracker - A Christmas Carrol, Sleeping Beauty, La Bayadere, Onegin, La Fille Mal Gardée. She also appears in choreographies of the modern and neoclassical repertoire: Kafka: The Trial, The Little Mermaid, Serenade or The Rite of Spring.
