Andreas Deinert

The German cameraman and video designer Andreas Deinert has primarily worked for theatre, specialising in drama and opera productions. From 1995 to 1997 he studied at the Staatliche Fachschule für Optik und Fototechnik in Berlin; since 2000 he has been a TV camera operator. Since 2002 he has worked as a stage-live-cameraman and video designer, participating in more than 50 drama and opera productions, including at the Volksbühne in Berlin, the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Staatsoper Hamburg and the Burgtheater in Vienna, as well as the Bayreuther Festspiele (Der Ring des Nibelungen, 2013). He collaborated with the stage director Sláva Daubnerová on the production of Verdi’s opera La forza del destino at the Aalto-Theater in Essen (2024).
