Anastasia Zhuravleva

Biography

A renowned journalist, documentary filmmaker and producer, Anastasia Zhuravleva heads Gamma, one of the largest theatre companies beyond the Urals. She has closely collaborated with the stage director Timofey Kulyabin, creating video designs for his productions at the Red Torch Drama Theatre in Novosibirsk (Three Sisters, Onegin, Children of the Sun, My "Red Torch", in 2021 The Wild Duck, etc.). In 2015, along with Pavel Polyakov, Art Nakhodkin and Pavel Yuzhakov, she co-created the play Holiday Agents, a joint project of Gamma and the Red Torch theatre. Since 2018, she has created the TV cycle Five Evenings, about famous cultural figures. Anastasia Zhuravleva lives and works in Novosibirsk, Russia.
