Biography

Alexandra Thibault, soprano, is a junior at the University of Kentucky, studying under the advisement of Dr. Elizabeth Arnold. She is pursuing a double major in Vocal Performance and Psychology and received the 2021 Alltech Encouragement Award. Alexandra placed 2nd in the undergraduate National Association of Teachers of Singing regional division in 2018. Alexandra has been in several operas with the University of Kentucky, including Die Zauberflöte and Don Giovanni by Mozart, along with Susannah by Carlisle Floyd. Alex is a natural performer who finds immense joy in the art of acting, infusing her performances with depth and authenticity. She was also a part of the University of Kentucky's 2023 Stars of Tomorrow Opera Gala filmed by KET and sang a featured selection from Bizet's Carmen. Alexandra has passion for performance that transcends the boundaries of the stage, and she looks forward to her coming years in music.
