AJ Rivera Johnson

Biography

AJ Rivera-Johnson is a Mezzo-Soprano born and raised in Berkeley, California. They are currently studying Classical Voice at the Manhattan School of Music with their professor, Sidney Outlaw. AJ has traveled around the world with the San Francisco Girls Chorus performing in Dido and Aeneas with the Philharmonia Baroque Berkeley, and starred in the debut opera performance of “Tomorrow’s Memories” by composer Matthew Welch in Honolulu, Hawaii. AJ recently had their European debut as Zweite Damen in Die Zaubreflöte with Lyric Opera Studio Weimar.
