Velvet Ballet Gala

The Czech National Ballet will present a Gala celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution in 1989. It is, above all, a feast of freedom and love.

Various ballet personalities connected to the National Theatre, an important symbol of Czech culture, will present themselves. The evening will bring new choreographies created especially for this occasion but also already existing Czech and foreign ballet works. Great stars, passion for dance rooted in breathtaking physicality, true emotions, brilliant technique, “velvet elegance”, magic and energy – an unforgettable artistic experience for everyone!
