The Czech National Ballet On Tour – autumn 2019

The Czech National Ballet enters a new season with couple world tours also.

At the end of August our dancers left for Finland and performed in two cities – Lappeenranta and Tampere – where the well known Finish dancer, ballet master, teacher and artistic director Juhani Teräsvuori organizes a GALA. The Czech National Ballet presented Aspectsby Katarzyna Kozielska and Vertigo by Mauro Bigonzetti.

At the end of September our dancers go to the South Korean city of Seoul and will perform together with the Korean National Ballet. Their show will present several choreographies of Jiří Kylián – the avant-garde piece Gods and Dogs will be performed by the Czech dancers in Korea for the first time.

Later in the fall the Czech National Ballet will bring the romantic fairy tale La Bayadère by Javier Torres to five Chinese cities (Nanjing, Zhuhai, Shenzen, Shanghai and Beijing). They will also take part in a special Ballet Gala where both traditional and modern works will be performed.
