Thalia Awards for our dancers? Keep your fingers crossed!

The prestigious Thalia Awards take place for the twenty fifth time this year – and we have high hopes for our dancers!

Nikola Márová, our first soloist, is nominated for the role of Mother in Glen Tetleyʼs Le sacre du printemps, and Ondřej Vinklát, the first male soloist, for The Chosen One in the same piece.

On the long list are Aya Watanabe (solo part in Petr Zuskaʼs Tremble), Claire Teisseyre (Russian girl in George Balanchineʼs Serenade) and Francesco Scarpato (The Chosen One).

The ceremony will be held on Saturday 24 March at 8 pm in the historical building of the National Theatre. If you cannot be there, do not worry. The Czech Television will broadcast the show live.
