Sami Gossart – a new Czech National Ballet member

The 20-year-old French dancer studied at the Paris Opéra Ballet School, the Conservatoire national supérieur musique et danse de Lyon and the School of the American Ballet Theatre in New York City. In July 2020, he won the Exclusive International Ballet Programme in Virazeil, France. The main prize of the competition, a week-long internship at the Czech National Ballet, was donated by the Prague company’s artistic director Filip Barankiewicz. Following his residency, Sami Gossart has now joined the CNB.
