How to create a visually impressive production while keeping the environment in mind? 🌱 Drama dramaturge Nina Jacques shares her experiences from the process of creating the production One More Minute, which emphasized environmentally friendly approaches.

Sustainability is slowly but surely becoming an integral part of the theater world. In the latest podcast special on ecological approaches at the National Theater, drama dramaturge Nina Jacques reflects on how to create a spectacular, visually impressive production while keeping the environment in mind.

The goal is not to limit creativity or artistic expression, but to approach production processes more responsibly. This can be achieved by choosing environmentally friendly materials, minimizing logistical demands, and emphasizing recycling and reuse of stage elements after the final performance.

This was precisely the priority in the creation of the production Ještě chvilku (Just a Moment), which premiered in February 2024. What role did the Re-use Federation play in the process? What were the biggest challenges in the production of costumes? And what common practices can be used to ensure that sustainability is also part of future projects?

The podcast featured music from the productions One More Minute and Pride and Prejudice.
