Phoenix in Dance Europe magazine

The prestigious British magazine Dance Europe has been informing about European dance scenes since 1995. It writes about new premieres and projects, noteworthy personalities and artists who find new ways, create original choreographies, show extraordinary achievements in the field of dance. Interestingly, many of the critics and reviewers have themselves gone through dancing careers and choreographed their own pieces – including Alison Kent.
Kent came to Prague to see the premiere of Phoenix and subsequently praised the work in the October issue of the magazine. She was most intrigued by Prelude und Liebestod by the Spanish choreographer Cayetano Soto and rated the opus (interpreted by The Czech National Ballet in Prague) in the top critics ranking as the choreography of the year.
