The Dresdner Musikfestspiele brings its project »The Wagner Cycles« to Prague on April 1, 2025 for a guest appearance at the Prague State Opera. Following »Die Walküre«, this year sees the world premiere of »Siegfried«, the third part of Wagner’s monumental »Ring« tetralogy, performed in the Czech capital in accordance with the principles of historically informed performance practice. The concert performance featuring the Dresdner Festspielorchester and Concerto Köln under the baton of Kent Nagano promises an innovative Wagner sound, which can subsequently be experienced live at guest appearances at the Philharmonie de Paris (April 4), the Cologne Philharmonie (April 10), and on June 14 as the closing event of the Dresdner Musikfestspiele in Dresden.
