Yvetta Tannenbergerová

Biography

Guest of the National Theatre Opera. Yvetta Tannenbergerová studied voice at the Bratislava Conservatory and continued her operatic training in the opera studies of the Staatsoper in Berlin and in Vienna. Between 1991 and 1993 she was a regular soloist with the Staatsoper Wien, where she collaborated with Placido Domingo, Mirella Freni, Claudio Abbado, Seiji Ozawa, and others. Since 1993 she has been performing as a free-lace artist, singing with all important opera companies in the Czech Republic as well as in concerts in Norway, Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Slovakia, Poland, Israel, and Japan. She is permanent guest of the National Theater in Prague, with which she completed a major operatic tour of Japan singing Micaela (Bizet: Carmen). Currently she appears in there as Donna Anna (Mozart: Don Giovanni), Pamina (Mozart: Die Zauberflöte), Violetta (Verdi: La traviata) and Musetta (Puccini: La boheme). She has also appeared with the Lille Opera in France, and collaborates with Opera Mozart in Prague. Her repertoire includes among other roles Mozart’s Konstance (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Zerlina and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Donizetti’s Norina (Don Pasquale) and the title role of Lucia di Lammermoor and Rossini’s Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia). She also devotes herself intensively to concert performance of sacred music and songs. Update: October 2007
