Biography

Permanent guest of the National Theatre Opera. He graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire in 1991 and achieved his first artistic successes in the Saint Petersburg chamber opera. He has been performing in the Mariinski Theatre since 1996 and shortly he studied many fundamental roles of world opera literature. He is a laureate of the Soviet Union Federal vocal competition, has guest performed on many stages all over the world including Finland, Great Britain, Japan, Germany, Belgium, France, Poland, Switzerland, USA. His concert activities are also rich. In the National Theatre in Prague he has so far studied Tchaikovsky’s Herman (The Queen of Spades), Leoncavallo’s Canio (Pagliacci), Bizet’s Don José (Carmen), Wagner’s Tristan (Tristan und Isolde), Puccini’s Cavaradossi (Tosca), Verdi’s Radames (Aida) and Saint-Saëns’s Samson (Samson et Dalila).
