Biography

Born in 1986 in Pordenone, Italy. He began devoting to ballet at the age of six at a private school in his hometown under the tutelage of Tullia Galanti Grollo. He attended the La Scala ballet school in Milan (2000–2005). He took part in the prestigious Gala Nureyev and the Gala Performance marking the 190th anniversary of the La Scala ballet school. In his final year he danced with the La Scala ballet company in the following productions: The Nutcracker (choreography: Rudolf Nureyev), Le nozze di Figaro, Europa Riconosciuta (choreography: Henze Spoerli, the opening performance in the reconstructed La Scala theatre, December 2005), Tannhauser and La dama di picche. In August 2005 he joined the National Theatre in Prague. Here he has performed the Jester and Tarantella in Swan Lake, the Russian Dance in The Nutcracker – A Christmas Carol (choreography: Y. Vámos), the Begging Child in Romeo and Juliet (choreography: Y. Vámos), 1st variation, Tarantella and Gennaro in Napoli (choreography: A. Bournonville), and danced in Giselle, Onegin, The Taming of the Shrew, Raymonda, Requiem (choreography: P. Zuska), 6/2 of a Human (choreography: Z. Šimáková) BREL – VYSOTSKY – KRYL / Solo for Three (choreography: P. Zuska), Carmen (choreography: M. Ek), Santa Says Cut It! (choreography: J. Greben / U. Ivgi) and Goldilocks (choreography: J. Kodet). At the International Ballet Competition in Treviso (2006) he won the first prize, awarded by Dominique Khalfouni and Karl Burnett (for solo variations from Paquita and Wary in Vain). At the present time, he is studying English and French at the Faculty of Languages and Literatures at the University of Udine, Italy.
