Jakub Svojanovský

Biography

After completing his studies of mathematics and biology at Palacký University in Olomouc, Jakub Svojanovský enrolled at the Faculty of Theatre of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, from which he graduated by portraying Gayev in Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard and the Phrygian Slave in Euripides’ Orestes. He was engaged at DISK and the Švanda Theatre in Prague, before joining the drama company of the National Theatre Brno, where he currently performs as Jiří Nečas in Kundera’s play The Owners of the Keys, the title role in Molière’s Amphitryon, etc.
