Host Opery

Guest of the National Theatre Opera. She studied piano and voice at the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy in Budapest under the tutelage of Judith Németh, Boldizsár Keönch, Ilona Tokody and Gabriella Imre. In 1998 she was granted a scholarship by the town of Székesfehérvár, and she also attended several master classes given by Ileana Cotrubas, Walter C. Moore, István Gáti, Ralf Döring, Anna Reynolds, Renato Bruson and others. From 2002 to 2008 she was a soloist of the Hungarian State Opera in Budapest. Since 2008 she has been a soloist of the Opera of the National Theatre Brno. Her repertoire comprises concertos and works by contemporary composers, as well as classical soprano operatic roles. These include, for example, Mozart’s Konstanze (Die Entfürung aus dem Serail), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Rosina (Rossini: Il barbiere di Siviglia), Verdi’s Gilda (Rigoletto), Violetta (La traviata), Desdemona (Otello), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Cio-Cio-San (Puccini: Madama Butterfly) and, as regards the Czech repertoire, Janáček’s Jenůfa and Katya Kabanova. For the National Theatre she prepared Mozart’s Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte) and Elettra (Idomeneo). She is a holder of the Thalia Award 2009. Update: September 2010
