Biography

Robert was born in Chur, Switzerland, and grew up in his home country, the United States, and Panamá. After graduating from the Tanz Akademie Zürich in 2018, he moved to Amsterdam for a year to continue his training at the European School of Ballet. In 2019, Robert joined The Czech National Ballet in Prague. Throughout his time with The Czech National Ballet, he has performed many diverse roles in numerous productions.

Some of his most memorable roles include portraying Lensky in John Cranko’s Onegin, Benvolio in John Cranko’s Romeo and Juliet, the four princes in Márcia Haydée’s The Sleeping Beauty, and the role of Paris in Romeo and Juliet. He has also danced as Prince in The Nutcracker: A Christmas Carol, The Devil in The Nutcracker: A Christmas Carol, Blue Bird in Sleeping Beauty, Benno in Swan Lake, Gurn in La Sylphide, and Prince’s friend in Cinderella. Additionally, he has appeared in Jiří Kylián’s Petite Mort (Kylián – Bridges of Time), William Forsythe’s The Second Detail, Wayne McGregor’s EDEN | EDEN, and Edward Clug’s Handman (Forsythe / Clug / McGregor).
