Natálie Paulasová

Biography

Natálie Paulasová was born in Prague. After completing the Czech National Ballet Preparatory School, she studied at the Prague Dance Conservatory, while also taking week-long courses at the Koninklijk Conservatorium den Haag and the Teatr Wielki Opera Narodowa in Warsaw. Moreover, she attended the International Ballet Masterclasses and the International Contemporary Dance Workshop in Prague, as well as the Royal Danish Ballet Summer School in Copenhagen and dance masterclasses in Montpellier. She also participated in a number of international dance and ballet competitions.

After graduating from the Prague Dance Conservatory, in 2016 she joined the ballet company of the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Plzeň, where she mainly appeared in classical titles, including Swan Lake, performing as the Russian Princess, in the Big Swans Pas de trois and the Brides Dance. She portrayed Milfred Harris in the production Chaplin and also danced in Youri Vámos’s adaptation of The Red and the Black. While engaged in Plzeň, she performed in opera and musical productions too. Since 2020, she has been a member of the Laterna magika company within the National Theatre in Prague.

Natálie is currently studying at the Faculty of Arts of West Bohemia University and writes for the Opera PLUS internet portal. For 2021, she is preparing dance projects of her own.
