Nadja Kadel
Biography
Nadja Kadel studied culture management in Germany, and has devoted to dance over the long term. Since 2004, she has worked closely with the choreographer Marco Goecke, while successively expanding collaboration with other dance creators. She also represents the rights to Uwe Scholz’s choreographies. Moreover, she has been active as a dance dramaturge (Stuttgarter Ballett, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, Royal Ballet of Flanders, Leipziger Ballett, Balé da Cidade Sao Paulo, Ballett Dortmund, Introdans Arnheim, Portugal’s Companhia Nacional de Bailado, Les Ballets de Monte Carlo, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Staatsballett Berlin, Nederlands Dans Theater, Gauthier Dance Stuttgart), a dance consultant (Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, 2006–2009; etc.) and curator of international ballet galas, as well as an editor (Cornelsen Verlag) and author. In January 2013 her book Zeitsprünge (Leaps in Time) was published, in March 2016 Königshausen & Neumann issued her publication Dark Matter about selected Marco Goecke choreographies.
