Misato Isogami

Biography

Misato Isogami comes from Japan.

She fell in love with dancing at the age of four after watching the live performance of the romantic ballet Pauquita. She began preparing for her ballet career at the Miyaki Ballet Gakuen in Tokio and continued at the English National Ballet School in London (2014–2017). In 2017 she went on a national tour with the Birmingham Royal Ballet and danced in Cinderella and in the same year she also danced in Nutcracker in the London Coliseum with the English National Ballet. In 2017 she became a soloist at Sibiu Ballet Theatre in Romania. She performed Clara in the Nutcracker or the lead girl in Paquita. In 2018 she took part in the Varna International Ballet Competition and became a semi-finalist. In 2019 she danced at the 5th Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition and won a special prize of the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA).
