Marc Löhrer
Biography
Starting off with Katharina Wagner’s staging of Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Marc Löhrer has been engaged at the Bayreuth Festival as an assistant for many of their productions of recent years. As a set designer, he was engaged for several years at Germany’s biggest touring company, and then became main set designer for the Westfälisches Landestheater. Since 2003, he has worked as a freelancer for the Altes Schauspielhaus Stuttgart, Fritz-Rémond-Theater Frankfurt, Theater Augsburg, Freilichtspiele Schwäbisch Hall, Grenzlandtheater Aachen, Atze Musiktheater Berlin, Oper Wuppertal, and other theatres. New opera projects with Katharina Wagner are under preparation.
