Maksym Voroček

Biography

Ukrainian tenor Maksym Vorochek makes the National Theatre Opera debut on 16 January 2025 in the role of Ismael (Nabucco, State Opera). He graduated from the music academies in Luhansk (2013) and Kharkiv (2018). He has worked as a soloist at the opera houses in Kharkiv (2016–2022) and Dnipro (2021–2022), and since 2022 he has been a soloist at the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Lviv. He has made guest appearances in the Netherlands, Belgium, Lithuania and Ukraine. His repertoire includes roles such as Pinkerton, Cavaradossi, Don José, Nadir, Don Ottavio, Eugene Onegin, among others.
