Lyudmila Korsun

Ukrainian soprano Lyudmila Korsun made her National Theatre Opera debut on 12 December 2022 as Mimì (La bohème). She was born in Kyiv and graduated from the Solomiya Krushelnytska Ternopil Music College in the city of Ternopil (piano). She continued her piano and singing studies at the Lviv National Musical Academy named after Mykola Lysenko in Lviv (2007–2011). Since 2012, she has been a soloist of the Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet. Her opera repertoire include Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Elvira (Don Giovanni), Micaëla (Carmen), Mimì (La bohème), Liù (Turandot), Violetta (La traviata), Norina (Don Pasquale), Nedda (I Pagliacci), Iolanta, Asa (Paderewski: Manru), etc.
