Kateřina Blahutová

Biography

Kateřina Blahutová is a multidisciplinary designer currently based in Reykjavík. She graduated from the Faculty of Architecture (ČVUT) and studied theatre and multimedia design at IUAV University in Venice. Her medium is light and space, both in its physical and digital form. She came to VJing and interactive projects through the Prague club scene, mainly thanks to the collectives Lunchmeat Studio, NEONE club and KSK. In her projects she often deals with sustainability and the dialogue between nature and the consequences of human civilization.

Kateřina has created visuals for touring musicians such as Midi Lidi, Katarzia and Dustin O'Halloran. She has exhibited in several international exhibitions and festivals, including Athens Digital Art Festival, Signal Festival, Reykjavík Winter Lights Festival, Reykjavík Arts Festival, List í Ljósi and Balloon Museum in Rome.
