Biography

Coming to music at an early age through the study of violin and piano, soprano Hannah Noyes most recently performed the title role of Cendrillon at the Peabody Institute in November 2022. During the last few seasons, she has premiered numerous multimedia projects including an digital album and short film. In 2020, performed Lisette from La rondine and Émilie in Kaija Saariaho's Émilie with Peabody Opera Theatre. In 2019, she made her European debut as Donna Anna from Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the Estates Theatre in Prague. Hannah attended SongFest in 2018 as a Colburn Fellow where she was featured in recital performing Arnold Schoenberg’s Brettl-lieder.

Hannah completed her Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Graduate Performance Diploma in Opera at The Johns Hopkins University-Peabody Institute, where she received the George Castelle Memorial Award, Anita Erdmann Award, and was inducted into Pi Kappa Lambda Music Honor Society. Hannah lives in Baltimore, Maryland with her two cats, where she enjoys cooking and tending to her houseplants.
