Ghiulnara Raileanu

Biography

Moldovan soprano Ghiulnara Raileanu made her debut at the State Opera in Prague in October 2022 in the title role of Puccini's Tosca. After studying at the Conservatoire and Academy in Chisinau, she became a soloist at the local opera in 2010. She has appeared as the Countess in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro, Verdi's Amélie in Un ballo in maschera, Leonora in Il trovatore, Desdemona in Otello, Puccini's Tosca, Liu in Turandot and Mimi in La bohème. In 2022 she performed as Tosca with the Bath Opera Company. She has worked with conductors such as Andriy Yurkevych, Nicolae Dogotaru, Cristian Florea, Alexander Samoila, Manuel Busto and Akiro Mori.
