
Davide Battiniello

Born in 1996, Italian tenor Davide Battiniello began his studies at the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory in Naples. After early successes at the Etna Opera Festival and the Puccini Academy in Torre del Lago, his career gained significant momentum with the AsLiCo Tour, where he performed Calaf (reduced version of Turandot) at prestigious venues including Teatro Regio di Parma, Teatro Sociale di Como, and the Arena Sferisterio di Macerata. Recent highlights include his debut as Don José (Carmen), winning the Cuore d’Oro Competition under Nicoletta Mantovani, and an international appearance at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. His 2025/26 season is marked by several major title roles, including the lead in Mascagni's L'Amico Fritz at the Festival Opus Opera with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice, Cavaradossi (Tosca) for the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma (OperaCamion project), and Calaf (Turandot), at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein. Battiniello continues to refine his artistry under the guidance of Andrea Carnevale.
