Bronislav Procházka

Biography

He graduated from JAMU in Brno (piano, I. Janíčková) and HAMU in Prague (conducting, F. Vajnar). He gained experience in regional theatres in Ústí nad Labem, Pilsen and Passau, Bavaria (where he also conducted about 200 performances). He greatly appreciates his collaboration with conductor Jiří Kout (2001/02 season St. Gallen) and with K.S. Gabriela Beňačková (concerts in the Czech Republic, Istanbul, master classes Germany, Luhačovice). He has regularly collaborated with Margreet Honig (masterclasses Germany). He worked briefly at the Prague Conservatoire and HAMU. Since 2008 he has been an accompanist of the National Theatre Opera. Since that year he has also regularly assisted conductors in opera houses around the world (Brussels, Antwerp, Copenhagen, Oslo, Frankfurt, Dresden, Geneva, Warsaw, Tel Aviv, Beijing and others).
