The National Theatre Drama hosts the ETC International Theatre Conference and opens part of its programme to the theatre professionals

The National Theatre Drama will host The ETC International Theatre Conference on the New Stage from 19 to 22 May 2022.
ETC (European Theatre Convention) is the organization with the largest network of publicly funded theatres in Europe, with 44 member theatres from 26 countries.
The ETC International Theatre Conferences are held twice a year at an ETC Member Theatre. These high-level events are an occasion for ETC Members and selected guests to explore new trends in European theatre, promote networking and raise awareness of current debates and challenges in European theatre.
Within the framework of the Prague conference, several events are open to the public, especially to theatre professionals and students of theatrr schools:

| A deep dive into the topic of inclusion in theater, asking not only who is on stage – and who makes our work – but what is driving the working culture in our organizations. How can we make every aspect of theater a safe space for art and artists, developing strong policies to prevent the misuses of power that have become all too common in the performing arts? What does it mean to be diverse in every part of Europe, and can we agree on one common definition of the term? We remain embedded in our local communities – our cities – which are often more advanced and inclusive than our own venues? | |
