It is our great pleasure to announce that principal dancer of Dutch National Ballet Daniel Camargo became permanent guest of our company.

Daniel Camargo was born in Brazil. He went on to train at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart in 2015. In 2009, Camargo joined Stuttgarter Ballett where he danced leading roles in ballets by John Cranko, Jerome Robbins, George Balanchine, Maurice Béjart, Kenneth MacMillan, Glen Tetley and Hans van Manen.
Since the 2016/2017 season, he has been a principal dancer with Dutch National Ballet.

New works were created on him by such renowned choreographers as Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Wayne McGregor, Jorma Elo and Marco Goecke.
He received prestigious prices: the European Most Promising Award from the European Cultural Foundation (2019), the German dance prize the Future Award (2010/2011), Prix Benois de la Danse (2018).

The Czech National Ballet thanks to The National Theatre Benefactors' Club for generous support.
