Petr Zuska’s Tremble on 24, 28 and 29 June at the National Theatre

Ballet

Do not miss Tremble, a production that has enthralled our audience.

Petr Zuska’s Tremble is a dance story to music of the first movement and fragments from the second and third movements of Henryk Górecki’s Symphony No. 2 and Jiří Pavlica’s piece Tremble, inspired by Vladimír Holan’s and Jan Skácel’s poems. By embracing the poetry, Zuska seems to have immersed into the very substance of his self. But what about me?

The last leaf trembles on the plane-tree,

For it knows well that nothing is firm without trembling.

The leaf need not ask you, God, for anything,

You have endowed it with growth, and it did not fail.
