Exhibition at National Theatre foyer – Come to the first balcony of the National Theatre and visit our new exhibition showing the history and context of the ballet Swan Lake.

Interesting photographs, documentary pictures and precious engravings will tell you more about this production connected with the National Theatre itself as well as many famous personalities.

Our exhibition uncovers various sources of inspiration of this renowned ballet – for instance the symbol of the swan in ancient mythology, visual art and literature or in the night sky. Also the personalities of P. I. Tchaikovsky and John Cranko are introduced.
