Change of the May premiere – The Czech national Ballet presets La Sylphide
With regard to recent development we are very happy to announce the change of the upcoming May premiere of Who Cares? (George Balanchineʼs Brahms-Schoenberg Quartet and Who Cares? choreographies) to Johan Kobborgʼs La Sylphide (based on August Bournonville). The title Who Cares? will be presented in one of the following seasons.

Johan Kobborg
A Danish choreographer and director, was a principal dancer with both the Royal Danish Ballet and the Royal Ballet in London. Following his departure from the Royal Ballet in 2013, he was the artistic director of the Romanian National Ballet until 2016. His La Sylphide is a tribute to August Bournonville and his technique, on which he is an expert. Kobborg staged this work at the Royal Ballet in London or the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.
