The young members of the Czech National Ballet are brilliant dancers. What is more, they have plenty of ideas, which they desire to flesh out on the stage. Nine of them have now been afforded the opportunity to test and showcase their creative faculties on the stage. An evening, titled Dance Laboratory, will present choreographies by Gianvito Attimonelli, Marek Svobodník, Benjamin Husson, Zachary Rogers, Alice Petit, Morgane Lanoue, Tereza Kučerová, Matěj Šust and Štěpán Pechar. The performance will take place on 13 May from 8 pm at the Estates Theatre!

“The Czech National Ballet provides scope to young talent systematically and over the long term. The mixed bill Dance Laboratory links up to the successful Miniatures project. The best way for the dancers to gain experience with choreographic work is to fully immerse themselves in this unique form of art, to give rein to their imagination and bring their ideas to life. Dance Laboratory affords a great opportunity to see a variety of approaches resulting in the birth of a new creation, choreography, ballet,” said Filip Barankiewicz, the Artistic Director of the Czech National Ballet.
