Steps for processing refund of tickets

Dear spectators,

With regard to the regulations of the Government of the Czech Republic and the current epidemiological situation, we had to cancel all performances from the 12th of October 2020, in the case of opera all performances from the 5th of October 2020, to the 28th of February 2021.

You can request an exchange for a gift vouchers instead of your canceled performance in the same amount valid an 1 year. Entrance fee will be refunded within 90 days from the date of the performance. Unfortunately, it is not possible to exchange tickets for another date due to the organization reasons with the exception of performances purchased as part of a subscription. Your tickets will be refunded as follows:

5 October 2020 – 31 January 2021
Entrance fee is being currently refunded automatically to whom we have contact information.

1 February 2021 – 28 February 2021
Entrance fee will be refunded automatically from the 21st of January 2021, if you will not fill in form bellow.

Unfortunately, due to the Government regulations and the development of the situation, we cannot guarantee that current performances will be performed on the dates now offered. If you want to receive news and notifications about the National Theatre, subscribe to our newsletter, please.

Due to the theaters closing as a result of the government regulations, we have extended the validity of all unused gift vouchers purchased from the 1st of April 2019 until the 31st of December 2021.

A/ Would you like to support the National Theatre by exchanging the tickets for the cancelled performances for a gift voucher of the same value valid for one year? 
Please fill in the following form.

B/ Would you like to have your tickets refunded? The manner of refund depends on how you purchased the tickets: 

  1. Did you pay online, through credit transfer or invoice?
    We will refund you automatically by sending the money to the account from which the tickets were purchased. You do not need to contact us, we will find all the information in your order.  
  2. Did you purchase tickets at a box office?
    Should you be interested in having your tickets refunded through credit transfer, fill in the following form or send to the email address platbynapokladne@narodni-divadlo.cz  the following data:
    Name, surname, number of the account to which the refund should be credited, the date of the cancelled performance and the title of the production;
    The ticket number (the 11-digit number in the upper right corner of the ticket next to the barcode);
    As regards international payments, we also need the name of the account holder, the address of the account holder, IBAN and  SWIFT CODE. 
  3. Did you pay cash on delivery or use a gift voucher?
    We will refund your tickets through credit transfer. Please fill in the following form or send to the email address objednavky@narodni-divadlo.cz the following data:
    Name, surname, number of the account to which the refund should be credited, the date of the cancelled performance and the title of the production;
    The ticket number (the 11-digit number in the upper right corner of the ticket next to the barcode);
    As regards international payments, we also need the name of the account holder, the address of the account holder, IBAN and SWIFT CODE. 
  4. Do you have tickets within a subscription?
    The performances within a subscription will be given on alternative dates. We will contact you via email. We will announce the new dates in the Changes in subscription section on our website till the end of December 2020.
  5. Did you purchase tickets from our authorised dealers?
    Please contact the respective authorised dealer directly.

C/  Do you want your tickets not to be refunded and thereby donate the money to the National Theatre?
Please send to the email address objednavky@narodni-divadlo.cz  an affirmation with the ticket numbers, confirming that you relinquish your title to have your tickets for cancelled performances refunded. In gratitude for your support, we will reward you by granting you one of the benefits of the National Theatre Benefactors’ Club.

The refund claims will be processed and settled one by one. Please do not send your requests more than once.

Due to the government restrictions are the box offices of the National Theatre closed from the 27th of December, 2020.
