Audition for female singers for the choir in the upcoming production The Bacchae

The National Theatre Drama is looking for female singers for a small choir to take part in the new production of Eurípidés’ The Bacchae directed by Jan Frič and staged at the Estates Theatre.
The show will be prepared from December 2022 till February 2023 (and premiered on February 16 and 17, 2023), and then repeated in blocks of several reruns approximately every quarter.
The required vocal range is alto and soprano, previous experience in an opera or philharmonic choir is an advantage.
We would like to cooperate with singers from Ukraine who have found refuge in the Czech Republic. Czech language is not a condition.
The audition will take place in September 2022.
