Biography

Studied at the Pardubice conservatoire under the tutorship of professa Svatava Šubrtová. She became a finalist of several international singing competitions. In 2001 she completed her studies at the Musical Arts University in Bratislava in the singing class of Magdalena Blahušiaková. In 1999 she made her debut on the stage of the Slovak National Theatre in the role of Marka in Suchoň’s opera Krútňava. In 2001 she guested in the Stadttheater Giessen in the role of Dido in Purcell’s opera Dido and Aeneas.
Between  2001/2002 and 2008/2009 season she was a soloist in the National Theatre Opera in Prague, where she has performed Mozart roles of the Countess (Le nozze di Figaro), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Micaela (Bizet: Carmen), Verdi’s Flora (La traviata) and Alice Ford (Falstaff), Smetana’s Blaženka (The Secret) and Mařenka (The Bartered Bride), Janáček’s Míla (Fate – the production of stage director Robert Wilson) and Karolka (Jenůfa), Lenio (Martinů: The Greek Passion) and others. She participated in the National Theatre’s 2002 trip to Salzburg (The Bartered Bride), to Japan in 2003 (Le nozze di Figaro) and in the role of the Foreign Princess (Dvořák: Rusalka) to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 2008.
Since 2002 she has been guest performing also in the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava f. e. as Micaela (Carmen) and Liu (Puccini: Turandot). Amongst other roles she has performed is Sixtus (La clemenza di Tito) and Mimi (Puccini: La bohème).
