Daniel Weber
Biography
Daniel Weber studied musicology, theatre studies and music pedagogy at the universities of Bayreuth and Bergen (Norway). He has been strongly affiliated to the Bayreuth Festival for years - first as a dispatcher, later on he has been in charge of the artistic project management of special events during the anniversary year 2013 as well as of the opera for children, for which he was also creating the dramaturgical concept. Since 2014 Mr. Weber has been a temporary lecturer at the Bayreuth University and artistic director for operation of the Bayreuth Festival. His regular artistic collaboration with Katharina Wagner started in 2011. At the Bayreuth Festival 2015 Daniel Weber was dramaturge for the new production of „Tristan und Isolde“.
