The footprints of the National Theatre - workshop
in Czech language
Basic information
3 hours, no intermission
LanguageIn Czech
Participants meet by the main entrance to the National Theatre historical building, 10 minutes prior to the start of the workshop.
In this workshop you will have a chance to carry out research into the history of the theatre, in collaboration with the rest of the workshop group.
Each group investigates one story revolving either around the foundation stones, buildings, and decorations of the theatre or about influential figures of the late 19th century. Groups are given two tablets to work with, which contain visual and audio recordings and other clues that drive the story forward, and also serve as notepads for the investigators’ findings and observations. Augmented reality technology allows you to interrogate witnesses from the 19th century. At the end of the session groups share their thoughts and experiences from the investigation.
