Biography

Luca Novello was born on April 17, 2003, in Turin, Italy. From 2019 to 2022, he studied at the prestigious Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan, completing the sixth to eighth year alongside the coreutico (ballet-focused) high school. His main teachers included Jean-Philippe Halnaut, Frédéric Olivieri, Maurizio Vanadia, Paola Vismara, Tatiana Nikonova, Leonid Nikonov, among others. Before that, he trained in classical and contemporary dance in Turin with Elena Delmastro and Rosanna Filipponi.

In 2022, he joined Balletto di Milano, where he performed in productions such as The Nutcracker (Federico Veratti), Carmen, and Notre Dame de Paris (Stephen Delattre). He also appeared in the new choreography Canone Allegro by Valentino Zucchetti and in George Balanchine's Serenade.

In 2023, he danced in Rudolf Nureyev’s Cinderella at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, collaborating with renowned dance figures such as Eleonora Abbagnato and Sylvie Guillem. In 2021, he appeared in the television program Danza con me with Roberto Bolle and performed in The Nutcracker and Études by Frédéric Olivieri at the Strehler Theatre in Milan.

Since the 2023/2024 season, he has been a member of the Czech National Ballet’s corps de ballet in Prague.
