

Benjamin Husson

Born in France, after completing his dance studies at the Regional Conservatory of Paris (1999–2001) and the Paris National Opera School (2001–2006), Benjamin Husson was engaged at the National Bordeaux Opera (2006–2007), Teatro Alla Scala (2007–2008) and Opéra National de Paris (2008–2010). In 2011, he joined the State Opera Ballet company in Prague and in 2015 he became a member of the Czech National Ballet.
From the beginning of his career he has performed in several productions like Nutcracker, Raymonda, Sleeping Beauty (Rudolf Nureyev), La Dame aux camélias (John Neumeier), Paquita (Pierre Lacotte), La petite danseuse de Degas (Patrice Bart), Proust ou les intermittences du cœur (Roland Petit), Ballets russes: Le tricorne (Leonide Massine) - Petrouchka (Mikhail Fokin) etc.
The National Theatre audiences have seen him in a number of a great ballet repertoire: Nutcracker – A Christmas Carol (Youri Vàmos), La Fille mal gardée (Frederick Ashton), Onegin, Swan Lake (John Cranko), The Sleeping Beauty (Márcia Haydée), La Bayadère, The Sleeping Beauty (Javier Torres), Giselle (Hana Vláčilová), Don Quijote (Jaroslav Slavický), Snow Queen (Michael Corder), Leonce & Lena (Christian Spuck), The Rite of Spring (Glen Tetley), Kafka: The Trial (Mauro Bigonzetti), 7th Symphony (Uwe Scholz), Cinderella (Jean-Christophe Maillot), Six dances (Jiří Kylián), Theme and variations (George Balanchine), Romeo and Juliet, Solo For Three, Tremble (Petr Zuska), Decadance (Ohan Naharin) etc.
