David Stránský

Biography

Born in Jihlava. Firstly studied at middle school, but finally gratuated in modern and folk dance at the Dance Conservatory in Prague. 
Apart from Laterna magika, member of Prague Chamber Ballet.
He was also addicted to pedagogical work – since 2007 at the Dance Conservatory (stage practices, modern dance). Author or co-author of choreographies Extasy, Once, Alterego, Positive…?, Four, Nanopicture, Behind the Curtain, Catch me and Bjerkely – Birch Forest.
In 2005 in broad nomination for Thalia Award for his performance in Time of Pain (ch. B. Roznos) and in 2006 nominated for Thalia Award for his role of Puk in Midsummer Night´s Dream ballet (ch. L. Vaculík). 

Co-creator of Cube, 2017 premiere of Laterna magika and of the 2018 premiere The Garden.
