Biography

The Polish tenor Zbigniew Malak was born in 1990 in Poznań, Poland. He studied voice at Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. He performed as a soloist in many concerts including J. S. Bach’s Magnificat D major, G. F. Haendel’s Messiah, J. Haydn's The Creation and W. A. Mozart's Coronation Mass. In 2011 he took part in the reconstruction of Vasa's Mass which was broadcast by European Broadcasting Union to many European countries. In April 2012 in Schlosstheater Rheinsberg he sung the part of Ormondo in Argenore by Princess Wilhelmine of Prussia. In May 2012 in Teatr Wielki – National Opera in Warsaw he performed as Flute in Benjamin Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream. In September 2013 he inaugurated a project for "Warsaw Youth Theater" performing a contemporary opera Wą by Marcin Piotr Łopacki. In July 2014 he debuted as Don Ottavio in W. A. Mozart's Don Giovanni  in Warsaw Chamber Opera.
