Biography

Born in Warsaw, Stanislaw Zaleski graduated in media arts from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. A video designer and game artist, since 2012 he has been a member of the YesEyeDo multi-media art collective, with which he has collaborated with renowned Polish directors, including Mariusz Treliński and Grzegorz Jarzyna, as well as with Keith Warner and Amon Miyamoto. Stanislaw Zaleski has designed video projections for the opera productions of Thomas Adès’s Powder Her Face (2015), Richard Strauss’s Salome (2014), Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s / Béla Bartók’s Iolanta / Bluebeard's Castle (2013), Krzysztof Penderecki’s The Devils of Loudun (2013), Giacomo Puccini’s Manon Lescaut (2012), and many others. As a game artist, together with LabLike Studio he designed the first mobile puzzle game based on Amon Miyamoto’s staging of W. A. Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte (2013), in which he also participated as a video designer.
