Morgane Lanoue

Demisoloist of The Czech National Ballet

Morgane was born in Paris. She studied at a ballet school by the Paris Opera (2003–2005) and later at Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (2005–2010). In 2011 she joined the State Opera in Prague and in 2012 the Czech National Ballet in the National Theatre in Prague. That same year she became a demisoloist.
She danced in classical titles such as Swan Lake (K. Greve), Giselle (H. Vláčilová), Don Quijote (J. Slavický), The Snow Queen (M. Corder), Sleeping Beauty (Y. Vàmos / J. Torres), Divertimento and Who Cares (G. Balanchine).
Audiences could admire her also in contemporary works like Cinderella (J.-Ch. Maillot), The Czech Ballet Symphony II. / Stabat Mater (P. Zuska), Ballettissimo / 7th Symphony in A major (U. Scholz) / Reflections on the Fate of Human Forms (J. Godani), OHAD NAHARIN: decadance (O. Naharin), Krabat (J. Kodet), Tremble (P. Zuska).
Currently she can be seen in the following titles of the CNB: The Nutcracker – A Christmas Carol (Y. Vàmos), La Bayadère (J. Torres), La Fille mal gardée (F. Ashton), Valmont (L. Vaculík) where she excels as the sweet and innocent Cecile de Volanges, Vertigo / Rain (R. Poklitaru) and Cacti (A. Ekman), Solo for the Twoo of Us and Brel – Vysotsky – Kryl / Solo for Three (P. Zuska), Romeo nad Juliet (P. Zuska), The Little Mermaid (J. Kodet), Timeless / Serenade (G. Balanchine) / Separate Knots (E. Gat) and Le sacre du printemps (G. Tetley), Slavic Temper Dumka (O. Vinklát), Kylián – Bridges of Time where she dances in two famous choreographies of Jiří Kylián – Symphony of Psalms and Sechs Tänze.
In 2007 she reached semifinals in the international ballet competition in Lausanne with the choreography Le Pavillon d’Armide by Michel Fokine.
